Job Overview: As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Working closely with the restaurant manager, you will oversee staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the achievement of business goals. Key Responsibilities: Staff Supervision: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff. Manage staff schedules and ensure optimal coverage during peak hours. Shift Coordination: Coordinate daily shift activities and assignments. Manage smooth transitions between shifts. Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards. Financial Accountability: Contribute to budgetary goals through cost control measures. Assist in monitoring expenses and revenue. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to staff on service standards. Identify areas for skill development and improvement. Problem Resolution: Address operational issues and resolve conflicts. Report major concerns to the restaurant manager. Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions. Assist staff in effectively communicating menu details to customers.
